GreenCards Help

It is possible to search by gene name or function, accession or clone name ....:

  • Search for key words:
    • your favourite enzyme 'transferase'.
    • You might also search for combinations like 'transferase methyl'.
  • If you are interested in specific data sets only, select one from the choice box!
    • 'Arabidopis thaliana: being mutants', to search for mutants
    • 'Arabidopsis thaliana: having mapping info' if you look for physical or genetic mapping information.
  • All searches are NOT case sensitive!
e.g: a search for 'protease' matches 'Protease' as well as 'PROTEASE'
    or vice versa
  • Wildcards are * for more than one character and ? for one character:
e.g: you could query for '*ase methyl' which would return 'oxidase' as well as 'transferase'

Sequence data stored in GabiPD, which are not annotated, are blasted against annotated sequence data (Arabidopsis and Rice Genome Annotation Database).
